The Envelope Journal Cover (customizable)

[Description]
The first leather good ever made by this outfit modeled that of the envelope, boasting a rectangular body and triangular flap. When beginning to design what would become the staple journal design eight years later, I found that I was still beguiled by the charm of an envelope. Amongst the envelope variety is one with a flap, button, and cord, which is also reminiscent of a vintage professional portfolio or folder.

Since journals can be very personal, I forwent one staple design and wanted to allow for someone to be able to choose their journal size, style, and offer other customizable options.

[How it works]
Each journal is made-to-order. Please select which size you would like. Upon ordering, you will collaborate with me - Jonathan (leathermaker) - to select your journal design features. We can communicate via email or Instagram where I can share reference photos, so that we can best tailor your journal.

[Customization]
The below list includes all of the components you will able to select. Please note that customizable options will be dependent on what is in inventory. Options include:
a. leather choice for all components
b. leather choice for back pocket and pen slot
c. thread color
d. monogram and location (e.g. "ZLC" on back pocket)
e. thread color
z. OR you can simply share a general preference, and I can design it on your behalf.

[Sizes]
Standard (A5): each standard sized journal cover comes with one large a5 journal (200+ pages) and one small a5 journal (80+ pages).
- You can hold up to three journals simultaneously.
- Each journal is fit with a back pocket and pen slot
- Dimensions: 9" x 6.5" (closed); 9" x 16" (open)

Pocket (A6): each pocket sized journal cover comes with two small a6 journal inserts
- You can hold up to two journals simultaneously and a perfect fit for a passport
- Each journal is fit with a back pocket and pen slot
- Dimensions: 6" x 4.5" (closed); 6" x 11" (open)
